Philic SS Butterfly Valve Overview

Concept

Philic butterfly valve is a type of Flow control Valve used to make a fluid start or stop flowing through in pipelines. Sanitary Stainless Butterfly Valve can be used in food, beverage, dairy, brewing, pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical and chemical industries.

Working Principle

Butterfly valves are designed with a circular body and a rotary motion disk closure part which is pivotally operated by its stem.

Butterfly valve is either remote-controlled by means of an Actuator or manually by a wrench.By rotating the handle or the wrench, the motion disk either parallel or perpendicular to the flow of fluids so as to adjust the flow.

Operation Design

The actuator is made in three standard versions, normally closed (NC), normally open (NO) and air/air activated (A/A).

Manually handle locks the valve in 3 position: Full open, half open and closed. Different handles type ARE Available.
