Gate Valve application:

Gate valve, the opening and closing member is a solid wedge disc, the direction of movement of the gate is perpendicular to the direction of the fluid, gate valve can only be fully open and fully closed, can not be used for regulation and throttling.

Gate valve classification:

1) Divided by gate structure: wedge type and parallel type.

Wedge gates are available in 3 configurations: single gates, double gates and flexible gates.

2) Divided by type of structure: flat gate valve and knife gate valve.
